As our hands-on LMIC Project Director, you will be at the core of this mission: building the partnerships, funding base, and operational execution needed to bring Bactolife’s solutions to low- and middle-income countries.
Key Responsibilities
LMIC Project Management
Own and drive LMIC project execution, including detailed planning, timelines, and milestone tracking
Coordinate clinical and operational activities across PIs, site teams, CROs, and internal stakeholders
Ensure studies and pilots stay on track, proactively resolving operational blockers
Identify risks early and propose mitigation strategies in collaboration with project stakeholders
Maintain structured, transparent communication across clinical, regulatory, and commercial workstreams
Build and manage relationships with NGOs, PIs, KOLs, and deployment partners in LMIC markets
Support the CEO in establishing and running an Impact Board, including preparation and participation in meetings
Map and develop a pipeline of LMIC partnerships and pilot opportunities
Grant Funding & Applications
Identify and track relevant funding opportunities (e.g. Gates Foundation, Wellcome Trust, USAID, UNICEF, GAVI)
Lead and coordinate grant applications in collaboration with CSO, Clinical Head, and external partners
Ensure scientific quality, strategic alignment, and timely submission of applications
Manage reporting requirements and maintain an active funding pipeline
Profile
Experience & Expertise
Preferably a PhD in life sciences, nutrition, global health, or related field, with 5+ years of industry experience
Proven project management experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Experience working in or with LMIC markets, NGOs, or global health ecosystems is a strong advantage
Track record in grant writing, fundraising, or business development in academic, non-profit, or industry settings
Strong ability to translate scientific concepts into structured, actionable project execution

Comfortable operating in complex, evolving, and sometimes ambiguous environments
Strong relationship builder across cultures, sectors, and stakeholder groups
